In short: Pronexi Services passes jobs from customers to independent local tradespeople and, with the customer's consent, shares the customer's contact details with tradies who accept the job. We are not a builder, contractor, employer or agent of anyone. The customer and the tradie deal with each other directly and are responsible for their own agreement, the price, the work, licences, insurance and any dispute. This summary doesn't replace the terms below.
About these terms
- Pronexi Services is operated by Emma Infotech Pty Ltd (ABN 16 644 105 368) (we, us, our). These terms apply when you use our WhatsApp service, this website at services.pronexi.com, the tradie dashboard, or any other part of Pronexi Services (together, the Service).
- By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
- A customer is a person who posts a job. A tradie is a business or person registered with us to receive jobs. If you use the Service for a business, you agree to these terms for that business and confirm you're authorised to do so.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- The Service runs through WhatsApp, which is provided by Meta. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for WhatsApp's availability or conduct.
- We may change these terms. We'll post the updated terms on this page with a new date, and for material changes to tradie fees or obligations we'll give registered tradies at least 14 days' notice by WhatsApp or email. Continuing to use the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
What we do and don't do
- We provide an introduction service. We receive job requests from customers, review them, send them to tradies who say they cover that type of work and area, and share the customer's contact details with tradies who accept the job.
- We do not perform, quote for, supervise, inspect or guarantee any work. We are not a party to any quote, contract, payment or other arrangement between a customer and a tradie.
- Tradies are independent businesses. They are not our employees, contractors, agents or partners, and they do not act on our behalf.
- Approving a tradie's account, or sending them a job, is not a recommendation, endorsement, certification or guarantee of that tradie, their licences, their insurance, their qualifications or the quality of their work.
- We don't guarantee that any tradie will accept a job, contact a customer, provide a quote or complete work, or that a customer will respond to, hire or pay a tradie.
- We may decline, edit (for example, to correct the trade, suburb or summary), delay or remove any job, and approve, decline, pause or remove any tradie account, at our discretion.
Using the service
When using the Service you must not:
- give false, misleading or incomplete information, or pretend to be someone else;
- post jobs you don't genuinely want quoted, spam, or repeated or duplicate requests;
- send anything unlawful, offensive, threatening, discriminatory, sexually explicit or that infringes anyone's rights, or photos of other people without their consent;
- use the Service to harass anyone, or to collect other people's details for any purpose other than the job they relate to;
- try to get around our fees, for example by asking customers you met through the Service to post future jobs elsewhere so you avoid a lead fee, or by sharing access to your account;
- copy, scrape or resell any part of the Service or its content, or use automated tools to access it; or
- interfere with the security or operation of the Service.
We may block numbers or accounts that break these rules, including numbers that repeatedly post junk or duplicate jobs.
Customers
- Posting a job is free.
- You must describe the job honestly and only post jobs for property you own, occupy or are authorised to arrange work at.
- When you tap Send job, you consent to us sharing your job description, answers, photos, suburb and timing with tradies who cover that type of work and area, and sharing your first name and WhatsApp number with tradies who accept your job, so they can contact you about it. We explain this in the chat before you send.
- Tradies who accept your job may call you or message you on WhatsApp. You're not obliged to talk to, hire or pay any tradie.
- Before you hire anyone, you are responsible for checking that the tradie is suitable, including:
- their licence, where the work needs one (for example, in Queensland you can check building and plumbing licences on the QBCC licence search and electrical licences with the Electrical Safety Office);
- that they hold appropriate insurance, such as public liability insurance, and any home warranty insurance required for the work;
- reviews, references and their ABN; and
- getting a written quote and written contract that sets out the price, scope, timing, payment terms and warranties.
- You must not ask tradies to do work that is unlawful or unsafe, or that needs a licence they don't hold.
Tradies
Your account
- To receive jobs you must register, give us accurate details (including your business name and ABN) and be approved by us. You must keep your details, trades and suburbs up to date.
- You must hold, and keep current, every licence, registration, permit and qualification required by law for the work you accept, and only accept work you are licensed and competent to do.
- You are responsible for holding insurance appropriate to your business and the work you do, including public liability insurance. Giving us a certificate is not a substitute for holding cover. We may ask for evidence at any time.
- You are responsible for your own tax, GST, superannuation, workplace health and safety and other legal obligations. Nothing in these terms makes you our employee.
- Your account is for your business only. You are responsible for everything done through your WhatsApp number and dashboard login.
Jobs and customer details
- We'll send you job alerts that match the trades and suburbs on your account. We don't promise any number of jobs, that any job will become paid work, or that you'll receive every job in your area.
- Each job can be accepted by a limited number of tradies. Jobs close when that limit is reached or after a set time. Viewing a job does not reserve it.
- When you accept a job, you get the customer's first name and WhatsApp number. You must:
- use them only to contact that customer about that job;
- not add them to any marketing list, send them marketing messages, or share, sell or disclose them to anyone else;
- handle them in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to you, and the Spam Act 2003 (Cth); and
- delete them when they're no longer needed for that job, unless the customer becomes your client and you need to keep records.
- Customer details stay visible in your dashboard for 30 days after you accept, then are removed from it.
- You must treat customers professionally and honestly, give clear quotes, and comply with the Australian Consumer Law, including the rules on unsolicited consumer agreements where they apply.
Lead fees and payments
- Tradies pay a lead fee for each job they accept. The applicable fee, including GST where applicable, is shown before you accept a job. Jobs you view or pass on cost nothing.
- Accepting a job is your agreement to pay the lead fee for it. You authorise us to charge the fee to the card or payment method saved on your account at the moment you accept. If the charge fails, the job is not accepted and you won't receive the customer's details.
- The lead fee is for the introduction to the customer, not for any outcome. It is not refundable if the customer doesn't respond, changes their mind, hires someone else, or doesn't agree to your price, except as set out in clause 7 or where the law requires.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your full card number. Receipts and invoices are available in your dashboard and by email.
- We may change the lead fee or introduce other fees by giving at least 14 days' notice. Fees in place when you accept a job apply to that job.
Bad-lead refunds
- You can report a job you accepted as a bad lead in your dashboard within 48 hours of accepting it.
- A bad lead is one where the customer's number doesn't work, the job is fake or spam, the job is clearly not for your trade or is outside the suburbs on your account, or the job duplicates one you already paid for.
- A bad lead is not one where the customer doesn't answer straight away, goes quiet, changes their mind, hires someone else, or finds your price too high.
- We review each report and decide whether it's a bad lead. If it is, we refund the lead fee to your card less the card processing fee charged to us, or give your free lead back if it was your free lead. We'll tell you the outcome.
- We may refuse refunds for accounts that report an unusually high share of leads, or where reports appear to be made in bad faith.
Work between customers and tradies
- Any quote, contract, price, scope, variation, timing, payment, deposit, warranty or guarantee for the work is agreed directly between the customer and the tradie. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for it.
- The tradie is solely responsible for the work, for complying with the law (including licensing, building, electrical, plumbing and safety laws), and for any loss, damage, injury or defect caused by the work or by their conduct.
- The customer is responsible for deciding whether to hire a tradie, for providing safe access, and for paying the tradie as agreed.
- Any dispute about the work, the price or payment is between the customer and the tradie. If something goes wrong, the Queensland Building and Construction Commission, the Office of Fair Trading or your state's equivalent may be able to help. We may, but don't have to, help resolve a dispute, and we may remove a tradie or block a customer if we receive complaints.
What you send us
- You keep ownership of the descriptions, photos and other content you send us. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, edit (for example, to write a short job summary) and share that content with tradies to run the Service, and to use it in de-identified form to improve the Service.
- You confirm you have the right to send it and that it doesn't break the law or anyone's rights. We may remove any content.
- We may use automated tools, including AI tools, to help read job descriptions and suggest the trade, summary and questions. Our team reviews jobs before they're sent to tradies.
- We own the Service, this website, our brand and our content. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.
Our liability
- Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited (Non-Excludable Rights).
- Subject to the Non-Excludable Rights, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that messages will be delivered, or that information provided by customers or tradies is accurate or complete.
- Subject to the Non-Excludable Rights and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- any work, quote, product, advice or conduct of any tradie or customer, including any defective, incomplete, late or unlicensed work, property damage, personal injury, death, theft, or non-payment;
- any agreement, or failure to reach an agreement, between a customer and a tradie;
- any act or failure of WhatsApp, Meta, Stripe, our hosting providers or other third parties; or
- any indirect or consequential loss, or any loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or data, however caused.
- Where our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
- Subject to the Non-Excludable Rights and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Service or these terms is limited to: (i) for tradies, the total lead fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; and (ii) for customers, A$100.
- Our liability is reduced to the extent that you, a tradie, a customer or any third party caused or contributed to the loss.
Indemnity
- Tradies indemnify us, and our officers and employees, against any loss, liability, claim, cost or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from: the work they do or don't do; their conduct towards any customer or other person; their breach of these terms or the law; or their use or misuse of any customer's personal information.
- Customers indemnify us against any loss, liability, claim, cost or expense arising from their breach of these terms or the law, or from content they send that infringes someone's rights.
- The indemnity is reduced to the extent the loss was caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.
Suspending and ending
- You can stop using the Service at any time. Tradies can pause leads from the dashboard, or ask us to close their account.
- We may suspend or close an account, block a number, or stop providing the Service, with or without notice, including if you break these terms, we receive complaints, we suspect fraud or misuse, your details or documents can't be verified, or we're required to by law or by WhatsApp's or Stripe's rules.
- Fees for jobs accepted before an account closes remain payable. Clauses about customer details, fees, liability, indemnity and anything else meant to continue survive the end of your use of the Service.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information, and forms part of these terms.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about the Service, contact us at support@pronexi.com with your WhatsApp number and the job reference, if there is one. We'll acknowledge it promptly and aim to respond within 10 business days. Complaints about the work itself should go to the tradie or customer first (see clause 8).
General
- These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the courts that may hear appeals from them.
- If any part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, it is read down or severed to the extent needed, and the rest continues to apply.
- A failure or delay by us to enforce any part of these terms is not a waiver.
- You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours to a related company or to a buyer of the Service, and will tell tradies if we do.
- We may send notices to you by WhatsApp, by email, or by posting them on this website. You can contact us at support@pronexi.com.
- These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
